Reality shows are slowly replacing the mega serials.In Tamil Nadu ,Star Vijay's Reality shows like Kalakau Poovathu Yaaru ,Jodi No 1,Super singer target mainly youth while channels like Sun TV,Kalaignar Tv have copied their ideas and target the general public mainly house wife...
Nowadays these reality shows are being well scripted in the sense they are made up artificially...these are done to evoke emotional feelings thereby make the show hit....One such example would be that supersinger when the elimination were done they added sad music and showed the participants crying ...the music made the impact...
One of the improvement needed in Comedy reality show like Kalaku Poovathu Yaaru,Ellam Siripthan is that when the participants perform their sound level is not heard properly as Female Judge Laughter is heard louder ..This makes us irritated to hear repeadetely laughter voice..
Kaliagnar tv ,jaya tv and sun tv doesnt know to make reality show in professional manner,we can very well know that they are made up ones...comedy show like asathu poovathu yaaru,Ellamay Siriputhan make biggest mistake as they use repeadetly same audience reaction shot after each participant performance ....
Now vijay tv idea have been copied ,so they need to show that they are different and way ahead of other tamil channel reality show..So they have introduced promo having Some emotional scenes from show to increase the curiosity of audience...Recent example could be of Simbu's (Judge) misunderstanding with participant in the show Jodi No 1 is being hyped to create interest..
Anyway now reality shows are loosing their real identity of being natural for the sake of competition...So its high time that they are being stopped being artificial made up shows..

Siva.. Read your blog... From my personel view we can always wecome reality shows..Imagine the serials which are always crying and talking about illegal relation ships and stuff...
I really fear whats the status of the kids who are growing watching the serials. When the situation is like this we can be happy about the reality show...
You are right in a way about the hype and artificial stuffs... These guys are there to make money and entertain us.If they dont make story you and i wont be watching it and discuss it....

just gonna embellish your one point. i've watched asatha povathu yaaru on suntv.. and the laughter is untimed.. and the audience, when showed, are shown laughing at different times and are shown.
like, the comedian will say something funny but will get lukewarm response in reality, but sun tv adds audio to make it sound like they made a comedica triumph!
ok. i looked on youtube and watched the video. it shows simbhu giving his judgements and prithvi not liking it. well, no matter how many years of training, simbhu was a judge and gave his honest opinion. prithvi had the right to show his anger, but it was a bit childish. simbhu came for this passion of dance, and hell, some publicity, and just cause this dance number wasnt as good as his others, he should have took the criticism and worked on it. instead he arrogantly walked off stage. most of these emotions should and usually are portrayed off stage, but he chose to show it on stage while filming which upset simbhu as well as the othe participants.. Prithvi danced well that day which do not deserve the criticism made by Simbhu.
He made many steps that showed goddamn energy. with those somersaults, perfect steps. Yeah, he spent some time walking here and there, grasping some breath, this gave some impression he is slow. His performance was good.
Amazing is that,Uma got such a good feedback, Prithvi danced to the same level.
Simbhu,made the total scenario worse by under rating a performer. What good is his comments really gonna do, in the way he expressed. He should learn how to speak first.
And the important, Vijay tv should stop these things, like concentrating emotions on all its shows. same formula. do they think its the weakness of people to bind them in front of people.
Come On, i can not agree bcos he has been made a judge, he can speak anything. Dont that fool have common sense.
The blooper episode says it all.. Yup siva.. agreed with u.. its all fake..
but anyways its media's usual job u see... Cant stop it..
